Gypsemna Company (L.L.C) is a new company promoted by Mr. Jamal Majid Al Ghurair and Mr. Khalid Jamal Al Ghurair, to set up a world-scale plasterboard factory in Abu Dhabi
Mr. Jamal Al Ghurair, a prominent member of the Al Ghurair family of Dubai, is the main promoter of the world scale gypsum plasterboard plant being set up in the industrial zone of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The plant, located at Industrial City of Abu Dhabi, will have an initial installed capacity of 50 million Sq Meters per year, based on a line speed of 90 Meters per minute. Thus the plant is expected to be the first high speed line for plasterboard production in the region. The plant is one of the new projects being implemented by Mr. Jamal Al Ghurair (of Al Khaleej Sugar Company, Dubai) in the building materials sector and is expected to substitute imported plasterboard required for the booming construction industry of the United Arab Emirates and the nearby Gulf Co-operation Council countries

The main contract with Grenzebach GmbH, a reputed German Machinery Supplier, includes supply of roller mill calcining system and the complete production line for plasterboard with equipment incorporating latest technology. Grenzebach completed the delivery the plant during the third quarter, 2008.
